Trying to find things for our son’s first birthday and trying to find non-AI art on Etsy is a fuckin chore. Are there any sites like Etsy that strictly forbid AI graphics work?

Its not lost on me that the only people insisting AI is going to be the future of filmmaking are people on Twitter who have never made anything and have only used it to transform existing IPs, while people like Vince Gilligan and Kane Parsons say it’s useless.

How does BACKROOMS director Kane Parsons feel about generative AI? He tells The Australian, "If I could snap my fingers and make generative AI disappear forever, I probably would." "Creatively, I get no enjoyment from using those tools. It defeats the purpose entirely for me."

If you want to avoid this, I’ve been paying for Kagi the past few months and don’t regret it in the slightest. Every other alternative to google that I’ve tried for web search never hit the mark for me. Kagi is actually VERY good.

I'm going to make a thread to document my journey with my brand new windows pc at work. No extra software installed besides Chrome. Day 1 - File explorer crashed several times after turning on the preview feature so I can quickly skim through PDF files. Had to turn it off, unusable.
