Guar anatomy notes for a wip of a little something

A sketch of two morrowind guars, reptilian bipedal mounts and pack animals of fantasy, alongside refferences of the old model in game and two kangaroo photo refs.
The animal is a reptile, with the body shape of a kangaroo and a massive goofy round head that reminds of whales, its nose its on the upper part of the head like whales and their eye sockets bulge similarly to both some whales and some lizards, the eyes are smal and rest almost alongside the corners of its massive mouth, that has a thin lower jaw and a big underbite, the arms are very short and the tail hangs low and a bit curved, in game guars don't hop but waddle really awkwardly in a cute way, in my rendition I drew them with their teeth poking out of their lips. I changed their posture slightly on my drawing because otherwise it's just not possible for them to (semi realistically) carry people, much less serve as cavalry.

Lrp, most of my 20s were hell. I've barely started my 30s and life feels so much better than 10 years ago. Probably mostly bc I got to start my transition a bit over 3 years ago but I'm also emotionally much more mature and I want to think I'm much more likeable as a person than I was in my 20s
