I think the consistent discussion around WoW Forever being too much like retail or too much like classic is getting ridiculous. The game is going to be different from both versions. It's keeping the philosophy of classic, timeline of vanilla but it'll be adding new content, just like retail does.

Not gonna RS the thread that made me think about this (you've likely already seen it, or a similar one) BUT Every person I know who has cut off or gone low contact with a parent took YEARS of agonizing and trying to make things work because damn that's their PARENTS.

Agreed, the point is: the books being banned are formative for young people, they help build empathy and understanding in ways that other forms of learning can't. They break through cultural barriers and introduce young people to topics that they might never come across in life.

respectfully, you are absolutely wrong. being banned is *always* bad for authors, even in the EXCEEDINGLY rare case that they make some list that people go to. because the goal is for most of us that KIDS have access. and ANY kid that doesn't is an arrow straight thunk to my heart

I still remember when getting banned in visiting on your book cover was a guarantee of extra sales. this is different, but I think there is still some merit in being banned. it depends on who's going the banning and why
