I might be even more thrilled for the entire @fermyon.com and #Akamai teams here than they are. Akamai has realized that it could put together a next-gen cloud native platform that both enables and pushes a huge amount of work far, far closer to the users than ever. And Fermyon....

Today, we are super thrilled to announce that Fermyon is now part of Akamai Technologies. Fermyon’s vision of building the next generation of serverless computing slots perfectly into Akamai’s own vision for the future of edge technology. www.fermyon.com/blog/fermyon...

I've been playing a new video game today. It's called, "Try to sync your work Office, personal iCloud, and family Google calendars." It's pretty hard. So far after several hours I am still failing level 1.

It’s one thing to get to help friends out. Even better when the result is so. Fucking. Good. Go find a Fermyon and ask them for a demo of their platform on GKE. You won’t be disappointed

It is fair to say that we at @fermyon.com are fanatical about compute performance and scaling. But working with the GKE team’s new Autopilot VM scaling has helped us achieve load adaptive scaling from the VM through Kubernetes and on into Fermyon Platform. It’s wow www.fermyon.com/blog/scaling...

I suppose taking on Cloudflare Workers is (and AWS and Azure) are good points to make. As a CloudFlare Workers user I'd be interested on how could I deploy non-WASM loads like static web pages to this and pass traffic through to API. Or deploy e.g. a .NET Api to edge. The whole flow, so to speak. :)
