it's funny when like NL started to get more mainstream (when I learned about him) everyone was saying "oh my god he's the next jerma" and at the time I thought that too but like going back to old jerma clips no they could not really be more different

i think in terms of beat-for-beat bar-for-bar games that truly enveloped my early childhood these are the games I thought about or captured my imagination the most, lots of great games while I was growing up but these got the most fanart or obsessive thoughts out of me

kind of unrelated I think it can also be hard to convey the appeal, watching gameplay of kf like 2 minutes might bore a lot of people but I think it's one of those things that you just have to play for yourself over the course of a few weeks for it to completely feel it's magic
