It seems crude to put the cost in terms of dollars and cents, but it really matters! Resources being used to treat measles are resources that can't be used for other things. What will the media companies who are publishing stories that Blanche agreed to a “deal” with Cornyn & Tillis to kill the slush fund write when people start getting paid with our tax dollars & this whole thing is revealed as a sham? Since they aren’t writing how it’s a sham now.

Just the fact that media calls it a “Weaponization Fund” shows utter failure to meet the moment. It’s like when you call Trump’s budget a “Big Beautiful Bill.” They get you to launder regime propaganda by creating a title that is a false characterization, which gets published.

Most of the corruption perpetrated by the Trump admin would not be possible without the complicit enabling of the Republican majorities in the House and Senate. The only way to put any check and balance on this out of control regime is to vote them out in November.

The tricky part for a future Dem Admin is going to be finding a way to divest the US govt from these companies without tanking their stock price & hurting them over the long term. What Trump is doing is a fundamental tenet of communism while he distracts by claiming Dems are.

What a surprise. The “peace deal negotiations” Trump talked about yesterday and Republicans saying on Fox that something is “very close” was just more blather and drivel.
