Play action without a play fake? Motion, backfield action, and OL slide get LBs to bite Opens up space for slant Tua is able to get the ball to Waddle on time because he doesn’t have to fake

Loved this tidbit about another advantage play action gives young QBs by @coachdancasey.bsky.social Ignore the coverage contour before the snap and read it after the fake.

🏴‍☠️ One of my favorite Just Win Podcast episodes we’ve done 🏴‍☠️ @mnewhouse.bsky.social talked with @coachdancasey.bsky.social and took a wider scope look at offensive trends, play callers, and how Klint Kubiak makes his mark. youtu.be/7e36tcuIpG4

Seems like Sorsby has some good tools, but the mental side of his game - working through progressions and his timing in throws - are significant weaknesses. Doesn’t seem like he’s ready to play right away. And that doesn’t even account for the off-field issues. I think #Browns should pass on him.

Is Brendan Sorsby worth a first or second round pick? The tools are undeniable but he could have used another year to clean up some of his rough edges. Deep accuracy is an issue. www.nytimes.com/athletic/art...
