World record holder for most migraines. Unfortunately no visions of the future. Yet.

It's so rare and yet so awesome when you see people who don't let them just get away with this shit and have the courage and means to not just keep pressing, but to make it public when they hold their feet to the fire and be relentless in their pursuit of justice and accountability

Your little oopsie "mistakes" had me worrying for a year of my life about my partner going to jail for up to a decade based on lies likely fed to you by the top of the federal government. Show everyone what you're covering up in these emails and texts. There's a reason you don't want them released.

"give a man a fish, he eats for a day" oh hey neat, that guy got to eat today maybe we should give him fish tomorrow too maybe we could even give him a fish every single day and then instead of us both being fishermen he could like make a chair or write a song or build a house!

Congrats to my good friend who started his own business and got his very first paying customer today. So happy when people around me have good things happen to them. The worse the world gets, the better it feels when good people get a win.

"I don't like the DSA platform on foreign policy!" Cool dude. I don't like a full 50% of the DNC platform but I'm still going to vote for a Dem over a Republican in the general election because they're not open fascists and it's way easier to primary someone later if elections aren't abolished.

The way Santiago gets attacked by literally everyone just for saying simple shit like, "be better than the awful trolls on the right" or "lets work together to elect people that aren't Republican fascists" is wild lol You know you don't gotta agree with a guy on everything to work together, right?

Let me make this very clear: I have zero desire to be any version of Charlie Kirk. And “protesting” by harassing random people who have literally nothing to do with the issue you’re trying to tackle is counterproductive and makes you seem unbelievably unserious.

Every time I spot an author using the wrong word but spelled correctly so that the spell check didn't catch it, I feel like John Henry asserting my dominance over the machines

For perspective, we could give each homeless person in the US two houses and we wouldn't run out of vacant homes in Florida alone. There are only 700,000 homeless in the US and this is a problem we could very easily and very quickly fix for less money than we spend each month on this Iran war.

www.tiktok.com/t/ZTACHdAUP/ Over 15 MILLION vacant homes in the USA, and thousands of people living on the streets. That’s just insane. Our priorities are so out of whack.

Pritzker has been told directly how this is a bad law that does real damage to kids, increases surveillance and is likely unconstitutional. He chose to sign it anyway because it'll give him headlines about protecting children and taking on big tech for his presidential run. A huge disappointment

Governor JB Pritzker@govpritzker.illinois.gov · 4d ago

When addictive social media feeds depend on keeping a child's attention at any cost, their well-being takes a back seat. Enough is enough — we’re requiring these companies to make social media safer for the future of Illinois.

Yes, but this is actually giving the US voter way more credit than they're due It really is as simple as, "my life got harder in some way or another while X politician/party was in power so now I'm going to vote against X" I can't stress enough how many tens of millions operate under this paradigm

post from @sharonk.bsky.social: once again: it's so fascinating how like everyone seems to want to blame the 2024 result on anything *BUT* the economy

This poll says that Democrats apparently suck just as much shit as Republicans and that our republic is dying Half of Dems are cool with blackface wearing candidates who post Nazi shit online and bully their coworkers? It's not a surprise that Republicans are cool with that shit, we all knew that

Wild how I have to send multiple messages and form submissions to the sales teams of companies online now to get a response I'm over here with a budget looking to give companies tens of thousands of dollars and their sales teams can't even shoot me an email with a quote ffs Lookin at you Dialpad

That Israel has escaped legal reckoning for its horrific crimes against humanity exposes a profound crisis not only in the execution of international law, but in our collective understanding of what the laws of justice and norms of decency demand.

The pro-Netanyahu activists have gone from "any criticism of Israeli policy is anti-Semitic" to now enlarging that to "any criticism of AIPAC is anti-Semitic." Their desperation to silence critics of the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Christians & Muslims Palestinians is vile.

Any time I wake up from anesthesia, there is a brief period where I don't have the crippling headache I live nearly every minute of my life with and when it finally comes back, it's truly soul crushing For an hour or two I remember what it was like to just live without pain Bleh

Love getting a phone call less than twelve hours before surgery saying that actually a totally different doctor I've never met is going to do it and by the way it's now at a new location three times further away Truly, US medical system, you are just the fuckin worst

Can't even fathom the amounts of money and success St. Louis would have if the greater metro area wasn't more than 100 separate municipalities (some so small they are only a single neighborhood) all with their own budgets, police forces, taxes, etc. The scale of waste is truly absurd.

The reason NYC's consolidation of surrounding jurisdictions into one big city government was never copied was because *it worked* and the wealthy realized that municipal fragmentation served their interests much better bsky.app/profile/ones...
