If you do union casework even for a little bit, you learn very quickly that laws do not stop people in power from doing illegal things. The only way to limit the worst of what they are willing to do is to build up enough worker power that they fear it more than they want to do illegal stuff.

I've said it before but Mars Vice is really good, my favourite furry game and queer as fuck, with good writing and gorgeous art. Highly recommended.

I'm willing to die on the hill of QA are some of the MOST important people in game dev, and often the most overlooked. There are no "lazy" QA. There are no "just push it to prod" QA. There are no "don't even bother checking" QA. There are massively overworked, underappreciated and understaffed QA.
