Non-binary do-gooder and pluralist (it/amanda) Broken human that can't stand what's happening to humanity. The first step towards being kind is understanding that everyone is different.

Message from our CEO: After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI? I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev

I always pictured me ending permanently sitting in a corner knees pulled up to my chest rocking backwards and forwards. I'm so close to unlocking that achievement right now.

I'm now at the point where I get significant anxiety just consuming fiction where people are being terrible to each other. I guess I've mostly lived in a time of peace and now it's all falling apart. SMH I can't understand how people can hate so much.

For me kindness and compassion can't be conditional. Only applicable to "those that deserve it". Everyone arrived where they are via a long journey, one that was likely very different to mine. I can still believe in a cause or even fight it if it would help, I won't hate those I fight.

Listening to a live version of "Rid of Me" by PJ Harvey and for the first time it occurred to me that it must have been a big influence on Nirvana. I opened the comments to find it was full of people saying how Cobain was at the gig and that he had all of Polly Jean's records. Weird.

You know what, I'm feed up with 1%ers funding political movements designed to fuck over the rest of us. Socialism has it's issues but I'd rather be part of a hapless collective than be ruled over by the cronies of the rich and powerful. Let's tear it all down, starting with Reform and Ben Delo

For years my go to was black tea with milk and sugar. Then I switched sweetener to splenda and then to monkfruit. Then I stopped sweetener altogether. I drank unsweetened tea for 18 months and didn't really enjoy it. Now I've switched to pure Oat milk in my tea and it's great.

I'm still mostly healthy, and the only service that the medical profession could offer me that I would be interested in at some point is assisted dying. UK MPs need to be held to account for their fearmongering and for the suffering caused by denying people access to such a service.

You can't fight opinions or make opinions stick on social media so what's the point in giving each other oxygen? Do your own thing, just be mindful of the consequences. We all have to live in this world. Ok,if your opinion is that people like me shouldn't exist then you can STFU.

I made it to the final boss in Onimusha: Way of the Sword and he really takes malevolence to the next level so I've decided to concede and let him do his thing. Sorry humanity...

The reason I couldn't advance my tech career was that I believed in people, I recognized that everyone was different and believed that everyone could find happiness and be great contributors if given the right conditions Later I understood that this wasn't conducive to higher level leadership

Looking for full-time, remote senior/staff or tech lead level work. TypeScript is my strongest suit, but I'm a flexible polyglot. Boosts for visibility appreciated!

The right to peaceful process shouldn't extend to people wearing masks. Turn up to a protest in a mask and then go about preventing the movement of people and goods, and preventing people from working then expect to be arrested.

We live in a post culpability world. Farage and Reform will either a) Not be punished, b) be punished and shrug it off c) try to turn the tables on it and turn it into a net positive (for their base). We also live in a "pay to win" world of politics but only the wrong people can afford to pay,

I had a good life for a while, way better as Mandy Waite than as the other thing, which was more than I could ever have hoped for. But I got too close to the Sun and my wings fell off... I haven't landed back on earth yet but when I do I hope it's quick and messy. It's been a long way down.
