Here’s a paper of interest that speaks of a hypocrisy experienced far beyond its scope. It resonates deeply with our work with Selbi Durdiyeva on the selective anti-imperialism of much of the Western left in its treatment of Europe’s East & Central Asia. For the record, the proportion of professors at Cambridge who are Black is 0.4%. The number of Black people in the UK population is 4%. So the number of Black professors at Cambridge is ONE TENTH of what you would expect in a meritocracy.

Beyond the media, philosophy too needs a reckoning. It is no coincidence that so many contemplations “justifying” eugenics, “modernisation” through colonialism and genocide(s), anti-trans bigotry and explicit misogyny have come from this field and have been treated as if they warrant hearing… 1/n

Beyond whistleblowing, he states that after a 'revolution' removes professors like Arday, it will open opportunities for him to become 'head of the department of eugenics and race science at Harvard'.

White supremacy works in part because it codifies mediocrity. Think about how secure mediocre white men are now, knowing that no matter how much better a candidate of color is than they are, that person will never get the job.
