Samuel Basallo said the message was passed around before the game and he borrowed stirrup socks from Kyle Bradish Basallo also noted how his pants were too tight. He borrowed pants to work with those high socks and he doesn’t know whose pants those were.

Adley Rutschman is 0-for-2 with a pair of strikeouts and a walk as DH today. With the Red Sox, in five games since coming off the IL, he is 1-for-16 with nine strikeouts and five walks in 21 PAs.

I’ve concluded that the Orioles will tie for the last American League wild card spot but miss the playoffs due to a tiebreaker, causing myself and fellow Orioles fans to lament about all the crazy, stupid, unreal losses they’ve suffered and how one of they could have made them a playoff team.

There aren’t any standout options and he’s been amazing this year but Cano has exhibited multiple times across multiple seasons that he’s not a good fit to pitch the 9th inning
