Teth's Existential Dread

Writer, gamer, music lover. People who claim that they're evil are usually no worse than the rest of us... It's people who claim that they're good, or any way better than the rest of us, that you have to be wary of. -Wicked (the novel, dumbasses)

Nothing like waking up to a swat team and a cop on a loudspeaker outside your building announcing a search warrant to spice up your vacation. They took a man I've never seen away in cuffs, along with a young girl, and we know most folks that live in our building.

Those of us who have been around long enough know that Degette isn't this moustache twirling villain, and has actually done more good than harm. With that said, I'm glad Kiros won. Fun fact, Schroeder, Degettes predecessor, may have been the inspo for the villain in Legally Blonde 2.

Out running errands today and saw gas anywhere from between 3.45 to 4.05. The more expensive ones were the independent gas stations. Which is funny, because back during the last oil war it was the opposite. Conspiracy brain running with the corps using the war to eliminate the little guy.

Saw one of my old friends post one of those Gen X nostalgia memes about how "we did all this stuff and turned out okay" and all I can think about is them doing meth and cheating on their partner for most of their 20s and 30s. You're okay now, but weren't for a good 15 years.

I still don't understand why folks are ignoring the Bernie sized elephant in the room with Platner. It's not just the dem establishment, it's fucking Bernie Sanders going to bat for this guy. And for some normies, that's enough to ignore all his shitbag behavior.

The thing about Graham Platner is that this is just obviously the kind of guy he is - his idiosyncrasies are different, but he's like a George Santos figure. He's been this guy and is going to continue to be this guy. If he goes to the senate he'll be Senator This Guy.
