Stage 11 of my #ThamesPath walk today between Lechlade & the Source. Completed the trail the hard way (uphill) albeit the wrong way ( @andysin33.bsky.social ). Had to celebrate in the customary way at the Thames Head. More photos of today’s walk to follow

The River Thames above Eynsham is languid and beautiful, perfect for paddling and quiet boating. There's so much to see from the Thames Path, as @johnmtippetts.bsky.social photos show. #thamespath30 Good Luck John for your final day from Lechlade to the Source on Monday 👏👏

Stage 10 of my #ThamesPath Sea to Source walk between Newbridge & Lechlade on what was a gorgeous day with loads of people out on the river & walking the trail. Saw 2 families of swans with 7 cygnets in total which was encouraging 😀. Many thanks to the volunteers who keep the grass etc in check 👏👏👏.

While we’re in Oxford looking at #greattrees 🏆🌳 do take a look at the Keaki in Christ Church Meadow too 😍 It’s a fine specimen and one of #30trees we chose to celebrate #30years of the Thames Path National Trail @thamespathnt.bsky.social bsky.app/profile/ticl...

Before the next heatwave I squeezed in another 3 sections of the #ThamesPath this week - Teddington to Windsor, Windsor to Henley & Henley to Goring. That's 70 miles officially. Nice weather for getting the drone up 1/3

What a lovely surprise! I am honoured to be standing alongside Peter Finch, Chair of the River Thames Society, an organisation that worked with the Ramblers to create the Thames Path National Trail in the 1970s-90s so it could be opened in 1996. Thank you for the photo @johnmtippetts.bsky.social

Day 23 of the Thames Path relay, and we're with South Bank Ramblers between Blackfriars and the magnificent Cutty Sark in Greenwich. Thank you Craig and Kleo for leading this superb group along this fascinating section of the National Trail through the historic trading wharves and docks... 🧵
