Broooooo The fuckin 3rd party bullshit program we use to help locate 911 callers is using AI now to transcribe calls. Not only is that crazy invasive, it also sucks ass because it keeps popping up notifications based on key words that don't actually check out

On the topic of Ancient Egyptian games, please look at this adorable ivory throw stick, carved on one side like the head of a fennec fox! Throw sticks were the Egyptian version of dice, used in games like Senet. Five were thrown, and depending on which side they landed on, a number was obtained.

Throw Stick. New Kingdom, Dynasty 18, second half (ca. 1400–1295 BCE). Hippopotamus ivory (tinted).

"Quick Rinse" -- "...so anyway, the cops FINALLY arrive and in no time they've got my handsome mug plastered all over the news cycle for 'Public Indecency'. And NOW I'm on community service to YOUR crummy planet 'till the fine is paid. It's a good thing these stalls have some privacy, eh 'pal?"

Please read this excellent perspective on social courage, depth of character, and collective betterment through connection. I found this really put words to why I love being a furry: they're a category of people I'm most comfortable connecting with and engage in real, meaningful relationship
