part of why the AI market is pushing "everybody is using it, it's inevitable" narrative: I've seen with people in my life the more you lean on it (and a lil bit slippery slopes towards more) it will make you worse at what you're doing until your output is as mediocre as anyone only using AI to do it

For further clarity, EA is going to be on the hook for paying 1.8 billion dollars a year in interest, whereas their current yearly profit is 1.5 .So their interest payments are 300 million more than their entire yearly profit. We're in the process of watching them tie a noose and look for a spot.

This is 💯 not true. It is never a choice between ‘taking big tech’s money and doing nothing’. A stronger moral imperative is NOT to take the money and the strings attached to it - particularly if you do not and cannot yet understand the implications

It's funny how a single gesture can really transform a moment. I had an "interesting" dungeon crawl as the healer in FF 14 where my DPS needed me to raise them like 6 different times because they just kept getting caught. But they were really gracious about it so it was funny, not frustrating.
