the thing about "separating the art from the artist" is that it comes from academic circles where they were trying to separate an artist's views from an interpretation of their work as an intellectual exercise, not as a way to give people moral carte blanche to support shitty people

Since we’re on the cusp of a brand new entry in a series about to release, I’m gonna do what I do best and play a game that is over 10 years old instead by finally starting my first playthrough of Fates Conquest! 😁

Do not speak to the BBC if you are trans. Just don't do it. Tell them to go fuck themselves. Even if you know the reporter and they are not an ass, tell them to go fuck themselves anyway because they work for the BBC and their editors will do this regardless of the journalist's intent.

More appalling behaviour from the BBC. ⬇️ A trans person interviewed about their horrific experience having their surgery cancelled whilst in the hospital described as 'biologically female'. And then half the article devoted to praising the work of an unemployed transphobe. 🗣️ DEFUND THE BBC 🗣️

Honestly, I would rather attend the Pokemon World Championship in Singapore than waste possibly hundreds of dollars in US visa fees that is non-refundable and getting shot/arrested/racially profiled by ICE. Despite its issues, Singapore is a much safer place for attendees and competitive players.
