Very excited to say I’ve finally set up a home office. Here’s to actually having a good work/life balance. Can you tell I’m a Trekkie from the decor?

someones going to go kick down that cartoons grave and the BBC will treat it like a terrorist attack
They didn’t spend all that time insistently saying they could win over racists and reactionaries who hate them by doing racist crackdowns, because it was a tactical manoeuvre. They said it because *they believe it*, because *they think it is good politics*, because it’s what they want to do.
“Why don't you just give Andy Burnham a go?” You don’t give bad people a go. You stop them.
Its so dangerous for labour mps to be suggesting people visit the uk for pride related events while their own party and leader are pushing trans genocidal ideology Its basically telling people to come here and risk their own safety for labours own pr stunt using queer people Its so disgusting
I live in a country where we have an entrenched media class whose entire role is to have opinions on things they know nothing about! They aren’t investigative journalists, they aren’t experts in anything, they are paid to shit out the most badly thought out controversial opinion possible!
This is why every conservative claims to have had a “leftist phase” which they “grew out of”. It frames right wing politics as adult and sensible while also framing their personal journey as a heroic narrative. In reality most right wingers have always had those beliefs, they just love to lie!
The Economist personal hit pieces are surely just embarrassing for them. What is it about wealth taxes, rent controls and water nationalisation that they're so keen to stop progress? It's time to tackle the climate crisis & end Rip Off Britain.
This is unironically - and astonishingly almost verbatim - Gul Dukat's genocidal rant against the Bajorans in the Deep Space Nine episode "Waltz."
Trying so hard to tidy but it really just feels like I’m making everything more messy
I remember being dismissively assured it wasn’t true, that this crank zillionaire is funding basically unlimited vexatious litigation
Amidst her grief over the death of Rod Liddle, Stock has written this in his memory.
In a move that will surprise absolutely no one who's been paying attention, Stock has decided that women with disabilities are suffering from "social contagion"
Queer looking person just got on the bus carrying what looks like a katana on their back, pretty sure that’s illegal here but also slay queen🫡
Everything is too expensive and jobs, especially entry level, don’t pay nearly enough. Here’s why that is the children’s fault…
Primary schools to be told to identify children at risk of future unemployment
@rikiwilchins.bsky.social 2026 Jul Advocate UK new anti-trans bathroom policy goes into effect with use of single-sex toilets, changing rooms and hospital beds restricted to birth sex across England, Scotland and Wales. Essentially an anti-passing law in all but name.
Great Britain now bars trans people from many public bathrooms and changing rooms
Use of single-sex toilets, changing rooms and hospital wards in England, Scotland and Wales is now restricted according to a person’s birth sex, rather than the gender with which they identify.

There’s been some talk about bringing in OfS to deal with the Jason Arday scandal, but I remember the time (just three months ago) OfS was revealed to be colluding with a right-wing agitator to produce a disproportionate fine against a university on trumped up charges based on ‘culture war’ nonsense
The OfS v Sussex ruling took OfS three years to gather evidence. Yet, from the ruling, OfS would only speak with Sussex under the condition they admitted fault (so they didn’t), and the only evidence presented was an outdated statement on its website and testimony from Stock, which was porky pies
The transphobic and segregationist EHRC “guidance” will come back to haunt those who have implemented it. Bridget Phillipson and Andy Burnham will not be allowed to forget this as long as they live.
'I hope the EHRC code of practice haunts its architects'
The EHRC's anti-trans code of practice is now in force and if there's any justice, this will be the Labour Party's day of reckoning

I’ve come to the conclusion that one of the biggest indicators of whether someone claiming to be deradicalised actually is no longer a fascistis whether or not they are attempting to stand for elected office.
Huh, that's weird, the neo-Nazi claimed in a Times of Israel interview to have abandoned his neo-Nazi ideology 'in my second year of prison... the point of where I changed was reading the bible in prison. And I started learning about the history of Jewish people from the Bible'. So which was it?
This is a great read, I think most trans former fans feel similarly. I always say the accursed tattoo still burns when she tweets!
Also because she's bankrolled this abhorrent anti-trans campaign, re-upping my piece about JKR lithub.com/burn-harry-b...
History ain't gonna be kind to you segregationists!
Our code of practice for services, public functions and associations comes into force today. It provides practical guidance on how the Equality Act 2010 applies to services, public functions and associations. Find out more: https://ow.ly/alIf50Zwrkx
Man, adopting a cat was the best decision I’ve ever made. Sure the government is trying to remove people like me from public life, but also there’s this little fluffy guy who literally starts purring every time he walks near to me!!
Goes without saying really but I’m not gonna comply with the EHRC’s segregationist guidance, I’ll continue using the men’s as I have without incident for over a decade. History will not look kindly on those who sort to remove trans people from public spaces!
Vimes Boot metaphor is back in the discourse so I have a handy illustration of how it works. These are two pairs of old Italian leather shoes I recently inherited from my grandfather who passed away. Note the beautiful intricate stitching, stacked leather sole.
When they said “there will be no toilet police” they were always just saying so we need You 🫵 to be a toilet vigilante and sniff out the gender deviants
This is what they expected and wanted to happen: that members of the public, shown the cops would take their side if they kicked off and went mental at anyone they suspected of being a transgender, would then start going apeshit en masse and enforce their wacko ideas for them.
-Punched his pregnant girlfriend. -Said he would rape the kids if he was a schoolteacher. -Said chiild sex abuse porn should be legal. Allison Pearson in the Telegraph...
One of my supervisors is taking voluntary redundancy, she’s moving onto other things and I’m genuinely happy for her, but also I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t also kinda terrified about what this means for my thesis. Im gonna have to find a new supervisor at the start of my third year!
These are institutions and individuals that helped Jeffrey Epstein and his associates commit their atrocities
My investigators compiled a list of individual employees at JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Deutsche Bank, the behavior of which merits investigation by federal prosecutors. That list includes:
One thing before I go - speak ill of the dead if they deserve it, especially if you couldn't when they were alive because they were litigious fuckwits.
Won't make a difference to the monsters who profit from turning human rights into a "debate" but should be widely shared so the rest of the world affirms that we need to protect trans kids
Canadian researchers found that 97 percent of youth who seek treatment for gender dysphoria still identify as trans years later.
The 2024 Acta Paediatrica article by Anne Wæhre is now formally retracted. doi.org/10.1111/apa....
3/ I should note, so that we don’t get lost in translation, that the two retractions are not yet finalised by the journals, but the committee’s findings and recommendations are final. There’re 2 other papers pending investigations, totalling 4. Full report: www.forskningsetikk.no/om-oss/komit...
