This applies to AI scapegoating, too. No, it’s not the fault of an ownerless, runaway “sentient” prediction machine, a genie that can’t be put back in a bottle. People programmed it to do that. THEY should be held accountable for the harm their machine causes.

Earlier today, I questioned if I really had adhd because the meds I'm taking aren't working. Now I'm >2.5h in to searching and researching sth I can't find and I want to stop so badly but can't.

I would like to 3d print some covers for those very simple metal shelf brackets, but I can't find any online, because you online find models for the actual brackets, but I don't trust that with books (and would have to buy petg). 😭

1. So, at the Worldcon this year there was a person who was going from panel to panel, bothering panelists by trying to get them to "collaborate" with them on a project and sliding the proposed project to them on a piece of paper. Folks, I cannot stress to you how obnoxious this sort of thing is.

If you have a few bucks to spare, please support this wonderful artist! They're bringing so much good and art into this slop world and, like too many artists, struggle financially because of it. The world just doesn't appreciate or support art like it should. So please, if you can, do it!

Since January I've worked non stop on personal projects. Two comics, two zines. It is netting me almost zero money as I have nothing to actively sell. But I want to be part of a world where artists can make things again and make a living from it. I have to try.

Marcant bekommt massive Drohungen für seine Videos über die AfD. Aufgeben will er nicht, obwohl er mit Gewalt rechnet: "Es gibt ja viele, die mich tot sehen wollen. Aber wenn ich lese, wie viele junge Leute mir schreiben, dass sie sich von Rechtsextremismus abwenden, lohnt sich das alles", sagt er.
