Kirsten Bladh@kerstanley.bsky.social ยท 2d agoMayor Bass is pushing the state legislature to put into *state law* that cities with over 2 million people (only LA) cannot reduce the # of car lanes of a road that leads into a cemetery without mayoral approval. Just to kill this desperately needed bike lane project.
They need to start charging the contractors as well as those giving orders with malicious destruction of public artifacts.

Whitney Curry Wimbish@whitneycwimbish.bsky.social ยท 2d agoOne of the documents linked in the post, Attachment 02b, indicates that ICE is using the DoubleTree SeaTac Hotel near the Seattle-Tacoma Airport to detain people. Not long ago, the government held hundreds of asylum seekers at that hotel.
Reminder: Luigi Mangione will spend less time in prison than the kid who leaked the GTA6 trailer. This 18 yr old kid got life imprisonment for hypothetically costing a video game company revenue for an advert that they can't even prove they lost. There is no morality. Only protecting the oligarchs.
