Imagining the endless version of Sphene that Alexandrian citizens knew as being perfectly tailored to their memories and names and preferences based on a memory databank. Like she’s QueenGPT. And how unsettling it must be for them that the real Sphene doesn’t do that for them at all

Y'all should know the play by now. They start off with whatever seems the most socially acceptable kink to cry bloody murder over, then it's just a hop and a skip and a jump to everything suddenly being criminalized. Kink content is important. Even the kinks you don't like. Remember that.

Roleplaying incest scenarios in porn will be criminalized in the UK as of next month, 2 years in prison for possession and 5 years for publishing I don’t know what to say that I haven’t said, this is bleak as fuck Any UK ABDL furries should also be extremely weary as this law targets you too

Really glad there is a new "To Aru" anime out, I really enjoy Index and all of the spinoffs they have. Watch Railgun btw 😌, great series with a 4th season coming eventually

I'm re-reading 52 for the first time since it was first coming out, and I've been having a blast. Especially since I can spot the foreshadowing now, and I have more context where some of these characters come from.

What chills me more is that the Atlantic article's author not only scanned Kundieza's work, but also scanned 25 years' worth of Caine Prize awardees to check whether they were human. A prize for African writers. It feels like the literary equivalent of doing a non-consensual genital check.

Since there are many new fans to the series and many people who might be interested in getting into the Trails series, I've decided to put together a chart showing the order of each arc.

Yes, of course McDonald’s posting about National Coming Out Day is “performative.” Nobody thinks Ronald McDonald threw the first brick at Stonewall. Nonetheless, the biggest and most influential institutions in American life performing affirmation of LGBT social and civil equality is a good thing.

That's nice and all, but much of this is performative, *especially* when corporations are cowed by shareholders and anti-LGBT+ activists. The likes of Costco who gave anti-DEI activists the middle finger should be celebrated because they stand for diversity even in the face of shouty assholes.

Imagine going "man, I hope this abusive megacorp who actively screws over customers who try to cancel throws around their big dick money to ruin the life of an indie developer". Never trust this person in your spaces. They'll probably call the cops on you for weed.

Yeah, no. PhotoCraft is fundamentally no different from Samba. Defining "free"/"libre" as specifically shoddy knockoffs and nothing more just hurts the reputation of OSS as a whole. But I also detest the RMS deadenders who insist on calling it "free"/"libre" instead of "open source".

I'm reading DC Universe Legacies, and wow post-Infinite Crisis continuity is _weird_. I'm not talking about bringing back the Silver Age stuff, but the Detroit League now happened after Crisis? Death of a Prince happened after The Killing Joke? What? Good to read a Len Wein script again at least.
