Starting next month, I'm going to be doing a gazillion interviews ahead of SLEUTH-HOUND's release in October. I'm buying a bag of these to hand out to media and podcasters to explain what I do as a medical historian. Do you think this will endear me to them, or make me seem like a weirdo? 😂

Sometimes washing & fixing your hair can change your day for the better. Today is not one of those days. I’m okay. Just wished for a little boost.
Made dinner of quinoa, sausage, peppers, & onion to have Mom & Stepmom over. Feels like I’m doing the last supper with them. 🥺
Halfway through the weekend & today we’re hitting the State Fair. Bringing our appetites. Expect pics. Anniversary party was good. The ones who mattered showed up. Food was great. BBQ ribs on the grill. But OMG the humidity could fuck all the way off. I’ve never sweat SO much just standing still. 😅

Looking at fabric from the local place online tonight while waiting for my bestie to finish her drive here. Tomorrow will be a touch of arts & crafts to make curtains for the cabinet under the sink that didn’t get the doors painted in time.

The entire house is clean ready for my bestie to arrive & for our party tomorrow. Except the stairs. I hate the stairs with a burning passion. There’s enough dog hair to re-fur a whole dog. It’s a pain in the ass. And… and… I just don’t wanna!
