Omaha’s least reliable source of news. Mixing records for bands you like.

Doesn’t care that I worked on incredible records by legendary indie bands. Freaks out over me running sound design for frozen and loves coming to the tech runs to be the lighting stand in.

I’ll never not get a kick out of stuff like this. Yo go try out this reverb and think of me in my Sony’s standing over you, smiling and approving. “Nice reverb,” I breathe into your ear. “Sounds great.”

I mixed the saddest song I’ve ever heard in my life. It’s about a friend whose death I pushed to the back of my mind until I was forced to confront it while mixing it. Go to the streaming service of your choice and listen to Here We Go Again by Jon Dell.

Hey if you are at all interested in reverbs, you might know I have a pretty decent collection. One of them was recently used to model a plugin by Metric Halo and Make Believe Studios and it sounds fucking stellar. Can’t wait for you to try it.

Back to mixing this week but I want to say, theme week (last 1/2 of Jan.) is an insanely fun time and I am grateful that I still get to write music that people love, hate, repeat listen, and talk shit about it. Thanks for picking me to make your commercials and jingles and opens.

First talent show for Ro today. First time playing for anyone except his mom and I. His sticker game is on point for an eight year old. Has a Willa Cather library sticker, Ground Floor, Eric Nyffeler Designed area, and the Sierra Ferrell backstage pass. Cooler than me.
