You guys! @thetylerwelch.bsky.social ’s new #ttrpg Piledriver is out and it‘s the best got-dang wrasslin’ game ever. I bought it at Dark Future and it came with a motherfucking folding chair model!

Two weeks until between two cons. Honored to have the LH team do a talk as one of the special events: “4:00pm: "Things that go bump in the night: adding horror to your game." Join the Liminal Horror crew as they talk about how to bring horror into your game in a meaningful way.”

Even accepting the premise that AI produces useful writing (which no one should), using AI in education is like using a forklift at the gym. The weights do not actually need to be moved from place to place. That is not the work. The work is what happens within you.

Outstanding catch from AJ Styles. Smooth as hell. #WWERAW

Win yourself a bunch of great games!

I just watched so much wrestling

I am legitimately worried for JD McDonagh’s health

This JD McDonagh bump was SCARY! #WWERAW

Liminal space in Vancouver, BC

Been knocking out a few miniatures lately. Got most of my Nemesis Claw Kill Team painted up and finally got around to this Master of Possession.

Priest/Balor was absolutely wild.

They are not fucking around with Raw on Netflix. PLE level matches all over the first two shows.

Joining my first Necromunda campaign Sunday. I’ve played one game in preparation. This is either going to be awesome or so shitty.

I had a 9.5 hour flight today and I didn’t sleep a wink. I did watch 5 movies, though. In this thread I will give one sentence reviews of all of them.

The English seem to love cauliflower. I’ve had it at almost every meal.

I realized tonight looking at all the old buildings still in use in London that what I love about functional architecture is that it reminds us that nothing ever really belongs to us. Pt 1/2

I’m in England. London, specifically. It is very British.

On a different note: cons are rough business. I’ve been trying to table and do panels, and either it’s a mad dash to apply & almost impossible to get in, or fees are wildly expensive & out of the budget for small time creators like myself. If anyone has hot tips for ttrpg conventions, I’m all ears.

It’s weird to have the veil pulled back on the pointlessness of social media. I posted a video of myself lifting the giant d20 (as seen in my avatar) and just short of 350k people have watched it. That’s hundreds of thousands more views than my regular content, but what does that mean?

Hey buds, I managed to lift a 249.5lb/113.4kg d20 onto my shoulder today. Here’s a silly picture of me doing it.

Seems like a Sunday afternoon is the right time to watch The Rock starring Nicholas Cage and Sean Connery.

Building a warhound Titan might have been a mistake. It is both impractical for play and kind of a pain to build 🤦🏻‍♂️ But here we are.

I love Chelsea Green. She’s so friggin funny.

I know the retro look of Main Event is just a nostalgia grab, but it’s working for me. Old logo turnbuckles, red/white/blue ropes, blue shirt refs…it’s all so good.

Iyo Sky is one of the best wrestlers in the game.

Oh yeah btw I’m going to post about wrestling. Probably a lot.

Watching Saturday Night’s Main Event and the energy is wild. Absolutely electric.

You’d think that I’d be good at texted-based social media, but I’m not. Never got the hang of twitter and my Threads is bare. Sharing hot takes is not my specialty, but I shall do my best.
