Expanding the mic cabinet this week... one of which is the Rode NT-SF1 (immersive capture mic). If you work in immersive formats... What sounds formats and channel counts do you want in sound effect libraries? Would you rather have the raw output or decoded formats like 5.1 or Quad or Ambisonic?

It took a lot of digging... but I finally learned that USB2 devices should not be trusted on USB3 (xHCI) ports. This means that backward compatibility is more marketing than fact. This problem is especially risky for audio data streams. Did the tech deep dive in a blog post.

Kontakt has been in dev for what.... 20yrs? The QuickLoad function is still like Windows 98 levels of slow. Just remove the feature all together and stop teasing us with this workflow.

Expedition 33 (game) might be cool .... but the 30min of slow dramatic setup, mediocre story, overwrought everything, no gameplay. Man. Just make a movie next time.
