Unapologetic pragmatic leftist, unironic SJW, Arizona Cardinals fan, pro wrestling fan (PRO WRESTLING, not WWE), and he/him. Not necessarily in that order. Old enough for my 18th birthday to have kids in college. I support the transgender mice.

I love when bigots beg off from all the attention they caused by saying bigoted things. That's not how it works, Sophie. You wanted an ESPN feature, you wanted to be MAGA Barbie, you wanted to spread hate... now you get to own that, forever, so enjoy it.

Amid tension, Cunningham says she wants to 'get back to basketball'

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham said Wednesday that she wants the focus to return to basketball after her comments on transgender athletes sparked heated national debate, three rallies and social media reaction all the way to the White House.

Reposting as for some reason it seems relevant again today. All I want is for people to be consistent. If you've said "vote blue no matter who", stick to your principles. If you're now rethinking it, maybe try to relate to why some had issues in the past & don't pretend your exception is "special".

Yep. Everyone thinks their exception is the special one. Some on the left thought it about Harris, some about Platner, now establishment Dems about DSA candidates. Stop saying it if it's just to coerce support for your candidates and don't really believe it. It just destroys your credibility.

NEW poll in 18 toss-up districts (with a sample that voted Trump 48-45) shows independents & moderates are *not* looking for the archetypical Moderate candidate — and are not dissuaded if outsiders are labeled too far left. Strong support for Israel was the *least* appealing quality in a candidate.

EXCLUSIVE: New Poll Shows Swing District Voters Prefer 'Outsiders' to Boring Centrists

Survey shared with Zeteo has a sample skewed towards Trump voters but shows strong support for Israel is the least appealing candidate trait. Plus, is Trump about to pull his controversial AG nominee?

Most Christians I know would hate this, and it's only going to annoy anyone who isn't already devout. They're either totally obliviousness to how counter-productive this is, or they're only doing it to create content for people who already believe.

Evangelist Whitney Lynn says she preaches on planes because she loves “a captive audience.” She's not alone. It's becoming a trend. If spreading your message requires listeners who can't escape, maybe it's not as compelling as you think. www.friendlyatheist.com/p/christian-...

As usual I have an opinion that would make no one happy: This was a good, not great, AEW PPV. Too many inconsequential (Fletcher/Bandido, Cage-Cope/Death Riders, BBG/Dogs) and good-not-great (Shida/World, Andrade/Davis) matches. But an occasional solid B and a good time is FINE. #AEWRedemption

See a lot of talk about whether Beshear should try to appoint to replace McConnell and wisdom/stupidity of it. Interestingly, the wisdom/stupidity is always about political strategy, never about what's right for people of Kentucky and their representation. Kinda encapsulates politics at this point
