Took the old Packard for a spin the farthest it's been from the house and one old man stood up from his lawn chair and clapped and a group of workers balancing on a roof with piles of shingles waved at us. I'm hooked and would like to drive to California in it tomorrow.

Saved all these submission opportunities going live August 1 but I’m not ready, I don’t have it together. Panicked for a second & then remembered I have written & published good things I am proud of & don’t have to break my neck to keep up.

Dad dropped off the genealogy & he’s coming back Thursday w the photos. My 10x great grandfather, per this document, was born in England in 1580 & died in Massachusetts when he was 54. His name was Nathaniel.
