I saw the lovely Rebecca Schulz (Fay from Wings) one time on the street in DC. I LOVE Wings and had also had a few beers and got so excited, I shouted “Holy S—-, it’s effing Fay!” and I think I scared the poor woman and she just hustled past. I don’t blame her one bit. Still love Wings.

@hacks4pancakes.com is absolutely right. The silence of the industry as Chris Krebs is unjustly targeted by this administration indicates another element of the private sector is being brought to heel, just like many law firms. The words of Benjamin Franklin ring true.

I guess because like five of us are saying something, what was done to @krebs is an absolute injustice and a mockery of his selfless service. America no longer supports or protects critical infrastructure defenders. I hope someone else appreciates him a lot more. I know he can’t reply.

The "F.U.R.R.I.E.S ACT" bill from Stan Gerdes (R-Smithville) would prohibit "non-human behavior" in Texas schools, including but not limited to: -Litterboxes -Tails -"Leashes, collars, other accessories designed for pets" -"Barking, meowing, hissing, or other animal noises" -"licking oneself"

A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the display of and allowance for non-human behaviors 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 in Texas schools. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. This bill may be referred to as the Forbidding Unlawful Representation of Roleplaying in Education or F.U.R.R.I.E.S Act. SECTION 2. Section 31.007, Education Code, is amended by amending Subsections (a) and (b) to read as follows: (a) The board of trustees of an independent school district shall, with the advice of its district-level committee established under Subchapter F, Chapter 11, adopt a student code of conduct for the district. The student code of conduct must be posted and prominently displayed at each school campus or made available for review at the office of the campus principal. In addition to establishing standards for student conduct, the student code of conduct must: (1) specify the circumstances, in accordance with this subchapter, under which a student may be removed from a classroom, campus, disciplinary alternative education program, or vehicle owned or operated by the district; (2) specify conditions that authorize or require a principal or other appropriate administrator to transfer a student to a disciplinary alternative education program;
