Many things confuse me about German leftists, but today's one in particular is how the ones that chant "No borders. No nations." are the same ones that insist that Israel's right to exist is beyond question, and that right outweighs over 70,000 people's right to... exist.

When I say I "miss" a certain food as a vegan I feel a strong urge to clarify that I DO NOT miss the specific animal-based component. I mean that this would likely be possible (and maybe even good) without the animal part but I'm sad that they put animal parts in it!!

Child safety experts: It is crucial we use the correct terms for things, even if they make us uncomfortable, so children can understand unsafe behaviour. Content in the year 2026: So this pdf file had child 🌽 and turned out to be a 🍇ist who SA'd a bunch of people before he unalived them.

hope the irish men's football team will take a good look at themselves they're honestly not likely to ever touch real glory from the sport, but they have a chance to become moral heroes by refusing to play israel history will remember those who stood against genocide more than some footballers

3 years in and the bbc is still pulling this nonsense for them, hamas attacks israel and kills a definite number of people but israel doesn't attack palestine, it launches an offensive in it it doesn't kill people, but people may be killed during it how many? a subject for debate

The armed Palestinian group Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October 2023, killing about 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages.

In response, Israel launched a massive military offensive in Gaza, during which more than 73,000 people have been killed, according to the territory's Hamas-run health ministry, whose figures are considered reliable by the United Nations (UN).

8 years after Repeal, those seeking abortion in Ireland are still subject to an unnecessary 3 day waiting period, an unworkable 12 week cut off, and a lack of providers throughout the country. If that doesn't sound very much like Repeal to you, join the march in Dublin this Saturday!

Hear us Now! at the 15th annual March for Choice, this September 26th in Dublin. Meet us at 2pm outside the Department of Health before we march to the Dáil. Share this post far and wide and show your interest by clicking "interested" on our facebook event page, link in our tree.

Square illustrated image split into 4 horizontal sections. The is a collaged image, two figures in the centre in teal and pale purple. Their eyes and mouths are from different people and are much larger, and jump off the faces. They are saying "Hear us Now!" in black and white ransom style font. The backgrounds of these are cone shaped speech bubbles, they are both patterned with interlocking points in shades of teal, purple and yellow. The ARC logo is to the right of the two figures in the centre.
The next section says "15th annual March for Choice" in white font outlined in black, with a similar pattern to the speech bubble behind it.
The next horizontal says "Saturday September 26th 2026" in black against a see-through white rectangle, that you can see the pattern through.
The last section is a teal rectangle with rounded ends and says "When: 2pm, Where: Dept of Health Lower Baggot Street"

Haven't gone on this rant in yonks but people STOP CALLING EVERYTHING A "HACK". "Ikea hack: I bought this shelf, painted it blue and used it to display books" that's just PAINTING FURNITURE and USING IT

It was a fairly staggering miscalculation by a “culturallly Irish” musician to think that two Irish acts, and another of outspoken politics and Irish heritage, would go along with the tour after his statement earlier.

It really irritates me when a celebrity does something shitty and people chime in with things like "I never liked him" or "His music sucks", as if their confirmation bias makes them intelligent. But also Ed Sheeran's music sucks and I never liked him.
