I understand the demands, and Ukrainian civil society keeps amazing me by it's democratic vigor. However, from what I understood, Fedorov declined all appointements proposed by Zel. He could not reinstate him as DefMin, because Ukr needs equilibriumwith DefMin and army command on the same boat.

Looks like a precedens... It can be done, you can discuss with Zelensky even behind's Putin's back. Also, one can get some concessions after the war is over from Ukraine when you prove you are useful for them. At the end - the new Russian government will be somebodies from Putin's circle
