I'm pleased to share a teaser for RUIN, my #RevPit2025 project I've been revising with @tiffanygrimes.bsky.social! Full pitch coming on June 9. Check out other 2025 RevPit winning projects @ #RevPitClassOf25! #booksky #writingcommunity #RevPit 💚 Artwork by: shushawinxart

Such a joy to work on this Thai-inspired adult romantasy by @eggqueenwera.bsky.social! When forbidden magic binds their fates, Fa Ying and Tana must unearth the truth behind a royal assassination & decide whether love is worth the ruin it will bring. #RevPit reviseresub.com/showcase/let...

Here it is! The #RevPit2025 Showcase is LIVE!!! Congratulations to all of our authors and editors! reviseresub.com/showcase

I've seen a few subposts today that tell me this needs saying: #RevPit isn’t a contest that rewards the “best” book. It’s one opportunity, shaped by timing, taste, and editorial capacity. Not a judgment on your future in publishing.

#RevPit I’ll be emailing #10Queries feedback throughout the week!

Editor Tiffany Grimes @tiffanygrimes.bsky.social has chosen SLOW BURN (Adult Romance) by Montana Beck as her runner-up. #RevPit

Very excited to work with @eggqueenwera.bsky.social on REBIRTH OF A CELESTIAL PRINCESS. 🤩 #RevPit

Editor Tiffany Grimes @tiffanygrimes.bsky.social will work with Wera Niyom @eggqueenwera.bsky.social on REBIRTH OF THE CELESTIAL PRINCESS (YA Fantasy) #RevPit

Without further ado, here’s what you’ve all been waiting for! It’s winner and runners-up announcement time! #RevPit

as we get closer to #RevPit announcement time, here are some important reminders: ✨️ sharing your work is brave ✨️ the contest (and ALL of publishing) is super subjective ✨️ "best manuscript wins" is not a thing ✨️ you are unique and exceptional in ways only you can be happy #RevPit day 💛

One last #RevPit #10Queries from me! Lots of romance today—some are cross-genre, but I labeled R where the romance arc felt primary. ✨ Also, every editor does things differently, but I picked these at random. There were so many great ones I didn't get to!

It's time for #RevPit #10Queries! By now you know what to expect from these, so off we go! Here is our key: Adult: A Middle grade: MG Young adult: YA Fantasy: F Sci-fi/Spec fic: SF Horror: H Mystery/Thriller: MT Contemporary: C R: Romance

Hi, have some pie, #RevPit. 🥧 Here are the stats from those who submitted to me! I opened up to more genre and age categories this year, so we’ve got quite the variety. It would genuinely be an honor to work on any of the manuscripts sent my way--so a big tysm for sending me such good work!!

Bringing my gothic horror to the #thsw in July and losing my mind that I get to work with Kristen Arnett. 😭😭🥹

Wrote my #RevPit #10Queries last week, promptly forgot they existed, and now I’m acting like I wasn’t the drama. They’ll be up tomorrow and Friday. Pretend to be surprised. 🤠

So #revpit finally got me to dust off my dormant BlueSky and I’ve enjoyed the games people are playing while we wait and would love to meet some new authors! Expanding my horizons to #authorsofbluesky but if anyone has fave communities here (romance writer, if that helps), I’d love to hear!

That’s all for right now, but I can come back later and answer any last additions!! #revpit #askeditor

So excited to finally talk about Neighborhood Literary, an agency with an extra focus on taking care of our local writer communities. 🏠 The door is open. 🫖 The kettle is on. ✨ Come on in. Good neighbors make good books. www.neighborhoodliterary.com/blog/come-on...

Come on in. — Neighborhood Literary

Well, here we are. The news is out, the agency is open. Welcome. There’s a lot to potentially say in an introduction post. But I’ll try to keep it short and sweet. I’ve always been driven to make...

We’re getting a lot of questions about our #RevPit first readers, so here’s a 🧵 on what they do and why we have them! #RevPitWaiting First, check out the first reader section of our FAQ: reviseresub.com/faq

There’s still time! If you haven’t submitted to #RevPit, you have until 12pm ET tomorrow! #writersky #querying #writingcommunity

Someone asked me a great question about triggers, #RevPit! For anyone else wondering, I don’t have any triggers and really enjoy stories that handle darker topics and themes with care and nuance.

Tiffany Grimes (she/they)@tiffanygrimes.bsky.social · 2y ago

Thank you so much for checking in! I do not have any triggers, so no worries on my end. I love when darker topics are explored with care and nuance.

If there are any #RevPit #Fantasy writers out there who want to connect, let me know! 🔊 Trying to find my peeps! 🙃

I feel like today might be a good day to revive the Anxiety Toolbox thread from a few years ago. I've added more Tools since then! Disclaimer: not a doctor. Just a person with anxiety and SAD who's been to a lot of therapy and likes to share what I've learned. #revpit #mentalhealth

My author website is live, and it’s under my preferred enby name! 🥹😭 I love it so much. 🥹😭 (still using “Tiffany Grimes” for editing work bc of ~capitalism and SEO nonsense~ but let’s hear it for gender euphoria 🎉) #writingcommunity #queerwriters #gendereuphoria www.sawyerelliot.com

Sawyer Elliot

Hi! I’m Sawyer Elliot, and I write about haunted families, stubborn identities, and the messy, beautiful ways people love and hurt each other. Born in sunny Florida and raised on gothic novels and sweet tea, I now live in Oregon, where I share my home with two cats who think they run the place (and they do).

Hey, fellow #RevPit authors!! I'm new here. Want to be friends?? I write about bisexual characters who have a knack for getting into supernatural shenanigans. I also love being outside, dogs, Dungeons and Dragons, and Taco Bell. ❤️

Just wrapped up a major project deadline, and my desk looks like the aftermath of a candy-fueled marathon. Papers everywhere, wrappers galore... but it's DONE! Time to finally breathe!
