If you didn't win #RevPit but still want to work with an editor on your manuscript, the cool thing about hiring a RevPit editor is that you know they've been vetted by the board. I had to do a sample developmental edit and query critique, which they evaluated, before becoming a RevPit editor. 1/5

I've seen a few subposts today that tell me this needs saying: #RevPit isn’t a contest that rewards the “best” book. It’s one opportunity, shaped by timing, taste, and editorial capacity. Not a judgment on your future in publishing.
Some of the wonderful #RevPit editors (including me!) are offering discounts on their editing services to authors who submitted to RevPit 2025. 😍 Learn more about each editor’s discount details below! reviseresub.com/annual-conte...

So have your feelings. You deserve them. You all worked so hard and it is for sure disappointing. I get it. But also, don't let it deter you. There are so many amazing options out there. Work with the editors if you want/can, find CPs/betas, use free resources to up your skills, etc. #RevPit
Now, let's do some real talk #RevPit. There is NO shame in not winning. There were SO MANY amazing books subbed. If you knew how many the editors agonized over, you'd be shocked. Not winning isn't a reflection on you or your manuscript. It just didn't work out this year.
Congratulations to all our winning writers, and be on the lookout for an email from your editors. Next, onto our runners-up. #RevPit reviseresub.com/annual-conte...

One last #RevPit #10Queries from me! Lots of romance today—some are cross-genre, but I labeled R where the romance arc felt primary. ✨ Also, every editor does things differently, but I picked these at random. There were so many great ones I didn't get to!
