A big conker-like seed thing just fell off a tree and smack onto my head. It hurt and I said ”ow” but It also made a really good ”THOCK” sound inside my head when it landed. To summarise - life is full of ups and downs.

Life is so much sweeter when the 1kg bag of sugar you just bought at the supermarket bursts inside your backpack and fills the crevice of every pocket and object inside with granules.
This little island is ideal for a ramble or maybe a car rally if one could be arranged.
Luke & Sam also provided the soundtrack for our short doc “The Grannies” (Luke was also the film’s editor). Therefore I also thoroughly and with bias endorse their work
Working with Luke and Sam on this music has been an absolute pleasure. There's ~2 hours of brand new music in Big Walk, and it is all (in our opinion) extremely, extremely good.
There are nine(9) sleeps until Big Walk comes out on August 4. aksfx are releasing new Big Walk music every day until launch. Each release is a radio station that you can listen to in the game. The first one, Lobby, is out now. youtu.be/mWFpjyAX_D8

My fave game at @glasgowindiegamesfest.org was @cdiffin.bsky.social's The Invisible Casino: a set of silly card+dice games which invite players to find creative ways to win. These are then met with derision, frustration, weariness & mime by the mute croupier. V funny and inventive: See if you can!

who from my friends and friends of friends have run successful crowdfunding campaigns and would be up for chatting with me at some point in the near-ish future about their experiences?? (added context, the project likely on my horizon isn't a game and it won't be via kickstarter)
