The biggest mistake this country ever made (after the obvious ones) is not purging the Confederacy and its entire ideology from this country when it had the chance. EVERYTHING that is wrong right now can be traced back to Confederate ideology and mentality. The GOP is The Confederacy reborn.

Just a reminder that the Confederacy only existed for five years. It's not Ireland, where centuries of ancestors lived and died. It's not your heritage. Nirvana lasted longer than the Confederacy. My emo phase in the early 2000's lasted longer than the Confederacy. You're not proud of those five years of your great-great-great- great-grandfather's life. You like white supremacy. Stop pretending it's something else.
