Went through a LOT of heck and back just to get this. 5 months and having to purchase it from Amazon two times prior unsuccessfully before finally making a successful third purchase. But I hope it was worth it.

Something I really wish would finally stop is people praising media but using it as leverage to shit on other media they don’t like and make it a pointless competition Like, I’m happy the new Spider-Man movie is getting praise but SHEESH, you can praise it without trashing the Jon Watts trilogy
With Obsession really being so big, and especially with a certain... ...take that really got a lot of attention last month... I see Bear very similarly to how I see Pawbert. And not just because they BOTH wear cardigans.
I can't stress enough how fucked up is what Moonbug is doing, and how nobody is talking about it, borderline dystopian. Fuck those guys and fuck DreamWorks for partnering with them to make their shitty movie.

Sequels where characters get thrown to the ringer are great. And we have gotten plenty of good ones.
Forgot that The Bad Guys 2 turned a year old today. It sadly has gone a bit under the radar, and didn't really deserve to. It was just tremendous and really, REALLY darn fun.

Kat Tsai@chuwenjie.bsky.social · 2w agoI have no clue why it was on that slide or who put it there, and every member of the crew I worked with is 100% against AI. Every aspect of the animation is handcrafted by real artists and I hope that people don’t use this slide as a reason to detract from how much love and labor went into the film.
While AI does suck and the ChatGPT mention shouldn't have been there at all, I do think it has been great the more people who outright worked on Avatar Aang, both at Paramount and at Flying Bark, did come in to outright clarify about it's actual usage in the film... ...which was none at all.
From Kat Tsai, one of the concept artists who worked on Avatar Aang... ...and also worked on Demon Hunters and Across and Beyond the Spider-Verse. At the very least, the fact that AI wasn't used during it's art process is encouraging.

So, it seems like this was just one person using ChatGPT as a Google stand-in for cultural research rather than any of the art or writing in the movie itself being made with Generative AI. That’s still bad of course. Just not AS bad. Either way, fuck generative AI.

With this and them ALSO using AI for their Freddy the 13th announcement... ...Paramount Animation consistently using AI in their pipelines sadly hasn't been surprising. I cannot be more disappointed, but I also am not surprised.

If Tom Holland knows who Porsha is, that would be pretty freaking awesome. Finding out that he is a fan of the first Sing and especially loved the scene where Johnny reconciles with Marcus(Big Daddy) was especially sweet.
Also worth noting that Morton voiced Ruby in the earliest seasons of Max and Ruby. And even then... ...she was also wonderful.
