“Nothing is more important than stopping fascism, because fascism is gonna stop us all.” -Fred Hampton

47 is flooding the market with low grade, beef from Argentina. This meat is filled with chemicals that are banned in China. Costco seems to be the only retailer NOT selling this meat. Stay woke.

Let me see if this is how BlueSky works. I saw a post this morning I thought was funny so I wait a few hours and make the same post as if it were original. “The only vegetable we haven’t recalled at this point is Mitch McConnell.” Do I have this right?

Only thing I have to add is that overlaying the X5 CrossTowner line (Downers Grove-O'Hare via Union Station) on demographic maps of the West Side and near suburbs really drives home how regional rail could turn hard "edges" into "seams" that connect rather than divide Chicago's diverse neighborhoods

Is there any good writing on which neighborhoods on the West and SW sides are or aren't seeing significant racial diversification in the last 10-20 years? Specifically curious on if there's a primary driver for the N/S Lawndale divide being much more stark than West Humbolt or Back of the Yards

We charge motorists for driving on belt and suburban expressways with ~no transit alternatives while keeping expressways in and out of the urban core – each flanked by high-capacity, frequent, publicly-subsidized rail transit – free. Stop subsidizing transit’s competition. Toll the expressways.

The Chicago region will have the dubious distinction of having an expressway pricing system that increases rather than decreases congestion in the region's urban core, where existing congestion levels are the highest. So much for the Chicago School of Economics....

With the end of physical media coming soon, it’s time for Sega to finally release the Neptune. The SGDK is helping people make great Genesis/Mega Drive games and slowly the expanded power of the 32X could finally start to be utilized.
