ISWAP published a three-minute-long Kukawa attack video via A'maq News Agency. Some thoughts and images (not in chronological order) below. First: The two SVBIEDs used by the group, shown before the attack, and the moments of detonations. Difficult to say if they were indeed successful.

I finally checked the Sentinel-2 imagery and a few things appeared: - Another line of trenches built after January 2023 - All ISWAP bodies' photos were inside the first (and some inside the second) line of fortifications - Small burned spots, although it is unclear if any were caused by the SVBIEDs
The things that are confirmed: - 3 Nigerian soldiers and 1 civilian killed in a morning attack on 25 Nov 24 in Kukawa. - ISWAP deployed at least two SVBIEDs. - At least 10 ISWAP militants killed, dozens of motorbikes captured. - ISWAP also captured some weapons. - The attack was repelled.

Friendly reminder: If the Gaetz House Ethics report exonerated him, the GOP would be clamoring to release it. They know what it says—and are refusing to release it. That’s all you need to know about just how damning it is.
Earlier this month, in a random group I am lurking in, I stumbled across the JAS video from the Barkaram attack. It is quite short, just over four minutes long, but it has some interesting moments. Left: A brief shot recorded during the attack. Right: Some of the weapons captured by JAS.

ISWAP claimed the Kareto attack and it is a big one. The group said it had killed and wounded 20 Nigerian soldiers after a suicide bomber (named Abu Maryam al-Ansari in the claim) detonated his car bomb. ISWAP also claimed capturing the local military base and burning it along with 14 vehicles.
You've been waiting for it! Please don't be mad if I forgot to add you; let me know and I'll fix this

Hi everyone. The Onion, with the help of the Sandy Hook families, has purchased InfoWars. We are planning on making it a very funny, very stupid website. We have retained the services of some Onion and Clickhole Hall of Famers to pull this off. I can't wait to show you what we have cooked up.

A new #PPLAAF investigation shows how millions of dollars allegedly misappropriated by Nigerian National Security Advisor Sambo Dasuki between 2012 and 2015, the height of the Boko Haram insurgency, ended up in luxury real estate in Los Angeles and a suburb of Washington, DC. 1/10
hello and welcome to the 1M people that have joined Bluesky in the last week!!!
Hearing some news from Lake Chad #BokoHaram... the Chadian military got fairly deep into the lake, to the vicinity of Madayi, on the Chad-Nigeria border. #ISWAP land, actually, not that of #JASDJ (which is the faction that carried out the attack on the Chadian garrison in Barkaram).
Let's try it again - Lake Chad Conflict Reporting Updates 2024. Starting with the geolocation of NAF Airstrikes in Arina Woje, targeting alleged ISWAP hideouts and reportedly killing 70 militants on 7 Nov 24 (there's no way for me to verify this). Location: satellites.pro/Nigeria_map#...
Before I started posting here, I wrote a thread about a rare ISWAP attack aimed at stopping the construction of a militia (CJTF?) base in Burimari, Borno State. xcancel.com/TomaszRolbie... ISWAP made an update yesterday in al-Naba' newspaper, claiming that due to the attack, the site was abandoned.
Unknown Nigerian UAV w/invalid transponder code (#A00000) & callsign STEV0SKY out of Maiduguri, operating over the northern part of Borno State. Likely operating against Boko Haram.
Getting lots of new followers, & they all seem incredibly intelligent & anti-fascist which is nice. I expected to wake up exhausted, despondent. but I looked up and for the first time in my life I thought, "there's no one left to look to. it's just us." so I am shocked at how I feel: furious, clear-eyed, galvanized. we who saw this from the beginning, for better or worse, it's our time to lead.
Starting my BlueSky experience with an interesting profile of a killed ISWAP figure, Abu Khalid Al-Hammadi Muhammad bin Harun Al-Barnawi, published last week in al-Naba' magazine. Al-Naba' says he was born in 1996-97 (the newspaper says, the Year 1417 Hijri) in Kala-Balge, in Borno State.
