Yet another right-wing attack on sociology. Very telling that it was written by a former NYT opinion writer. Although much better informed than most in its genre, it makes a charicature of the discipline, ignores the politics of the critics, and contrasts sociology with a mythical “hard science”.

This protection for Trump and his family was unprecedented in its scope and form, to say the least. It even extended to “affiliates” of the Trumps and was potentially worth tens of millions of dollars. One estimate put it at $100 million. We must not become numb to this corruption.
