Worth repeating, the 'tough new visa rules' were designed specifically for care workers and their family members. If it's not going to work for them, it won't work for anyone else caught by the cruelty of the rules. Bin the whole thing.

BMJ stripped down article format is problematic. Piece felt like comment rather than science to me, albeit comment from experienced health economists Seems likely that diverting billions to marginally effective drugs will harm patients. Accurate quantification of that harm is obviously difficult
