After many years of cycling in London I've had my first injury that required a trip to A&E. Tried to go up onto the grass to get around some people in a park and came down too hard off a bump, stacked it, and got my shin shredded by the pedal or chainring. It comes for us all eventually.

I have reached the stage of Blue Prince when I see another layer of the puzzle. What an incredible game. I'm glad I gave it another chance.

I have woken up incredibly early so I guess I'll go for a run or something else that people who get up early do.

After putting it off since it came out, I'm giving Blue Prince another go. I've got my laptop with a Notion doc next to my SteamDeck ready to be filled with discoveries and ramblings of a mad man. I will defeat the mansion of Mount Holly if it kills me.

Not Sam Neill! Jurassic Park was such a core part of my childhood and Event Horizon is one of my favourite films. I once tweeted about how he nailed the accent in Peaky Blinders and the use of "Yous" and when I woke up the next morning I discovered he had liked it.

I do think a lot of English-based analysis of what happened in Northern Ireland last night is missing the specifically loyalist aspect of the violence. These are groups with a long history of violently driving out "outsiders", turning their sights on a new vulnerable minority.

Sad to see what is happening back home tonight. After last Summer, Belfast doesn't need this happening again.

I've been suffering with bad RSI recently which is an issue for playing games with a controller, so now I'm forcing myself to give Disco Elysium yet another go on a computer instead of the Switch. Maybe it's the different screen, or the fact I can't play other games, but I'm enjoying it a lot more.

Had an ultrasound today for arm pain and it took all my strength not to say "is it a boy or a girl?" to the nurse. I bet they get that all the time.
