Doe je eens een avondje internetvrij en dan komt er zo'n bombshell uit. Onbegrijpelijk dat @progressiefned.bsky.social Mariëtte Hamer een advies op laat stellen waarvoor ze zich toch een beetje neutraal in moet stellen terwijl ze weten dat zij zit te lobbyen voor een van de opties.

Many good Odyssey takes. No deep insights on the social commentary beyond what I've already seen; I'd only point out that Odysseus also mentions the 'global' trade order. Liked how the Trojans were depicted in white and the Greeks in black to signal very non-subtly who to pigeonhole as good/bad.

Works between Rotterdam and Breda so the NS offered this alternative itinerary made in hell (to be able to go to Brussels). The @nsinternational.com site didn't even allow booking for BXL (no explanation for what to do). The 'replacement bus' also badly organised: understaffed, too low frequency.

Dit kan énorme gevolgen hebben voor onze verhouding met de VS. Dit hof zetelt in Den Haag. Als er echt openlijke druk komt, wordt Nederland gedwongen te kiezen tussen goede verhoudingen met de VS en de eigen sleutelrol in internationale rechtsorde.

My condolences to Senator Lindsey Graham’s family and loved ones. Senator Graham fought until the very end to support Ukraine’s fight for freedom and raise the cost of Russia’s war of aggression. He worked tirelessly to strengthen sanctions, in close coordination with the EU.

It is incredibly confounding. We are seeing signs of climate change that are palpably, searingly obvious to everyone, but everyone in power seems intent on downplaying the link, or making out it is about “woke air conditioner attitudes” or some such nonsense.
