OECD power generation from gas has seen a significant drop in the five months since LNG flows through the Strait of Hormuz were first disrupted. This has not resulted in an increase in coal-fired generation as solar and wind have covered demand growth and the fall in gas.
It only comes in 39.2kwh but customers can opt to get a second one for a small additional charge. In my area, two batteries 78kWh would be $995, then $29 per month for 10 years. I would also have to purchase my electricity from them at a fixed rate of $.14 per kwh on a 3 year contract.

This, from @akshatrathi.bsky.social, is correct for commercial and industrial PV installations but I think domestic installations are different. Self-consumption, mainly with EVs and heat pumps, can still win compared to negative wholesale prices thanks to the avoidance of taxes and grid fees.

Hungarian power generation during the last week - the sequential block-by-block shutdown of the Paks nucler power plant looks wild. Thankfully a lot of solar during the day. During nights, gas generation is ramping up and imports supply the vast majority of demand.
