Acclaimed Iranian photojournalist Yalda Moaiery has spent much of her career documenting moments of dissent and the lives of women in Iran. The work has repeatedly brought her into conflict โwith the authorities, and on Iran's National Journalist Day on Saturday she learned she had been sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Every person being fascist and puritanical about sex needs to be relentlessly berated and ridiculed. It is anti-human behavior that actively contributes to the corporate sanitization of the internet, forced ID verification laws, criminalization of queer people, and women being stripped of autonomy.

It's very fascist to harness the panic of "The Youths are losing their morals" for the sake of stripping rights away from people they don't like. The most dangerous thing about smut is it shows people that no, not everyone has to want to get married and only have sex for the sake of having 2-6 kids.
