The weird thing about Manzambi is that his profile is nothing like Bamba who we pivoted towards after being turned down. Are we still after a Manzambi type? Or did we respond to Bruno's request to leave by buying Bamba? Very strange.

It's an entertainment industry and I for one would find that thoroughly entertaining 🤷 Don't know how the club could monetise it though. Maybe make mousemats with pictures of the most gratuitous violence on?
I don't really see where Joelinton fits into this system Jaissle has trialled in his first two friendlies. He's versatile so maybe seen as a rotation option but he earns around £150k per week. Wouldn't be shocked to see him go this summer.
I'll be more concerned if we put in this performance in either of the weekends games. Would be nice to have Dedic in by then.

Far too early to think of an XI for the Liverpool game but I'd really like to see Ramsey in the 10. Miley probably starts at right back in that game, unless Wilson pulls his finger out, so could Bamba or Steur start in midfield? Maybe with Joelinton? We'd need someone to pass through the press.

This never felt like it was ever going to happen so no sleep lost. If we are aiming for an experienced, lower value midfielder, then who would we think improves us? Palhinha? I'd like McGinn but doubtful that could happen.
Spoke to plenty of them that believe it, and it's almost always within the first few moments of any football conversation. They can't compete because City cheated blah blah. My definition of cheats would be those who changed the rules to stop others competing. But hey, what do I know.
