What this shows is that a staggering 63%(!) of people arrested by ICE in Minnesota during Operation Metro Surge (from December through February) had no criminal record at all.

Note the MASSIVE spike in arrests of people with no criminal record /"convicted criminal" means any conviction no matter how minor. "Other immigration violator" means no known criminal record.

Can someone please tell me if I'm overreacting here? Is an organization contacting somebody's emergency contact to ask for a favor an acceptable use of emergency contact information? This feels absolute egregious to me. I'm actually indignant. But I'm willing to be corrected if I'm overreacting.
The thing is people were pleading with Mainers MONTHS ago to find another progressive candidate to support that didn't have a Nazi tattoo and the response was just "lol no."

I think it is good to send the message that nazi tattoos are a disqualifying factor in American leadership. In fact this was a baseline understanding up until only... well... now.

The successful effort to force Biden out signaled to elite media that they had a veto over Democratic Party primary voters. Whether they successfully exercise it or simply try to in 2028 is an open question but bet your sweet nippy they’re going to try.
