she/her. sorry about my face, an animal licked it honored east portlander, oregon treasure quest ranger, OSU extension service master food preserver and master composter, mother of multiples, peasant USDA zone 8b/9a

unlike the books on jonestown and ruby ridge i just read, which inspired me to feel intensely sympathetic towards the victims, place myself in their shoes, understand how they arrived there etc, this book on love has won just reaffirmed my prior opinion- bunch of egregious morons + appalling drunks

went to DQ in garibaldi right as they opened and have to kill 5 min waiting for grill to warm up. shooting shit with worker. he says fair this weekend. i said with the pig thing? he says yeah one year i took 3rd. i said is there a trick to it? he says with pigs? you just grab 'em n go

update on this: someone who bears a strong resemblance to this man appears on my neighbor's security camera late last night huffing some paint and then emptying all the loose duck food out of her free duck food vending machine (for her ducks) right into his backpack lmao

update on this: we went back to the library this evening and saw the same guy, this time clothed, pacing around. brian said "hey that's the guy who was strafing me for several blocks the other day. he was wearing a SCUBA diving wetsuit which i then found abandoned in the woods later"

wow i was unaware of the sort of spiritualist or metaphysical origins of the silver shirts. i knew they were a fascist paramilitary but i did not know they came into being after pelley had a visitation/mental break where he spent seven minutes in a ... bathroom dimension?

gave the lads some big juicy dill pickles and salty plantain chips and watered-down gatorade for snack, trying to get the ol' hydration up, and they looked at it very politely, sniffed it, and one said diplomatically, "mama i have a fun idea. let's go to a restaurant!"

when this survey asks people if they believe "ancient, advanced civilizations, such as Atlantis, once existed" and HALF of americans say yes. a BUNCH of those americans must be thinking of, say, egypt. the maya, the minoans, etc. RIGHT? we can't have HALF OF PEOPLE believing in Lemuria. RIGHT?!?

If there’s one thing we can be sure of, it’s that Phil knight authentically wants justice for displaced albina residents as much as he wants the Oregon GOP to win in elections
