A thread just to track a few passages for further thought 1. Helpful re: when to use -ing vs -ed vs -s; keep charade parts nounal when connecting with real or implied coordinating conjunctions; with other connector, it depends: as long as the units function as ‘themselves‘ (verbal, nounal, etc)

Aaron Riccio@illogicaljoker.bsky.social · 3w agoToday's cryptic clue from Fez's contribution to a Platypus also comes with a poll where I ask whether there are certain types of subjects that should be avoided. (Clearly I didn't think this murderous but fictional subject was off-limits!)
