People driving in the bike lane like “oops I didn’t know,” Bradley you spend eight hours a day completing transportation-themed CAPTCHAs do not try me
Jimothy told me he would fit perfectly in your bicycle basket and it’s time to search for snacks
Me: I would like an ear piercing Claire’s employee: *screams bloody murder* Me: thank u

I am a terrible dog mom because I won’t let her kill even ONE of the baby bunnies that live in the yard.

When I saw the bike and trailer locked up outside one of my favorite bars later I knew I was walking a righteous path 😤
You could be pulling a Burley trailer with a full-grown adult (who is holding a bouquet of flowers) to the bar right now and giggling a lot, did you even consider that #Seattle #Bikes #CargoBikes

Good to see lots of Seattle ppl get that 1. “e-bike”& “e-moto” are diff vehicles, & words matter 2. Arguments about “ #ebike” regulation exist w/in larger picture of traffic safety. It’s irrational to laser-focus on e-bikes at the expense of addressing leading traffic causes of severe injury&death.

Routine reminder that US cops kill 10,000-25,000 dogs every year. Almost always with zero reason or justification. That is 27-68 dogs shot and killed by police every day.
More than Just Collateral Damage: Pet Shootings by Police
The Department of Justice estimates that American police officers shoot 10,000 pet dogs in the line of duty each year. It is impossible to ascertain a reliable number, however, because most law enforc...

Just more horrors. Cops kill another dog while searching for someone not even at the home they were at. A highly trained service dog was not a threat to police but that doesn't matter, they killed her anyway. Why do cops do this? Less paperwork then killing people? www.wsbtv.com/news/local/c...

I used to have a bumper sticker on my car (it was on so long it literally wore off) that said, “If I had ridden my bike today, this parking spot would be yours.” I think about it every time someone claims bike lanes are gratuitous investments that only serve people in spandex.
If you hear someone singing “I’m not taking up a parking spot, doo dah, doo dah” as they bike by, it’s (probably) me! 🎶 🚲 🎶
"If I'd ridden my bike today, this parking spot would be yours."' or A great cycling shirt cld say, "My car's parking spot is yours today."

I may need that bumper sticker. Bike racks take less space than parking spaces for cars. Bike lanes take less space than another traffic lane. Resources for bikes make life better for drivers too. More people will ride.

A community that wants the biggest bang for their buck will build a bike lane. Investing in better places to ride makes travel safer+more comfortable+less complicated for everyone whether or not they’re on a bike. Complete streets (streets w space for diff types of travel)=gifts that keep on giving.
“People who ride #bikes alone are weird, how do they even entertain themselves” oh so testing if you can isolate each individual muscle in your torso while deep breathing for two hours is weird and not entertainnnokay I hear it now
Can’t believe it’s been 14yrs since my first journalism internship! Was just as fascinated w the newsroom as w the news. From my notes: “Jul 3, 2012: Reporters are staring at the office ceiling. Eye witnesses say a bird may be in the lights. Quote: ‘Why do you just have binoculars in your desk?!’”
I feel so silly, I have an Insta360 I use all the time but I literally was like “this route has so many protected bike lanes im sure i don’t need the 360 today” lo &behold I super did. If you were near the Green Lake Way side of the putt putt course ~6:18pm 6/30 &saw this plz lemme know #seattle
The driver who *opened their passenger door into the Green Lake bike lanes, yes the ones w flex posts *and kept the door wide open *while driving toward/passing me as I biked in those lanes *all while screaming something indecipherable+threatening would really benefit from a nice bike ride #Seattle
