on the topic of advice: do something with your body other than stare at it in the mirror. a sport, walking, painting, whatever. just give it value other than how it looks. it shocked me how much playing a very causal sport changed how i think about my body

My god, @transcect.bsky.social's Second Base (rewrite coming out on Mondays on her Patreon!) is so fucking good. Bottle Blondes is great, but there's something about Second Base that just blows me away. Serious contender for my favorite novel of 2026.

i'm fairly confident that there'll a new version of Second Base out july/august i've just passed the word count of the original; fully rewritten, certainly on more consistant tonal ground and up to my current standards. it helps to know where a story is going when you write lol
its fucked up that working out and going outside and going to sleep early really does make you feel better
