Our work Implemented & Evaluated Euphoria: Transgender Gender Euphoria Principles in Rainborough was accepted to #CHIPlay2026! We developed Rainborough, a research game that translates prior transgender euphoria design principles into interlinked narrative, parasocial, and customization systems.

I started even later... it's lovely to finally inhabit a body that I enjoy. It's tanken a lot of work to get here. It probably only would have been less if I'd transitioned as a teen, but I doubt that was possible in the 90s. Finding yourself and being yourself at any age is the best.

It really is never too late. I started at 33. Physically, all the stuff they said could only happen if you transitioned as a teen - it happened to me anyway. Life-wise, post transition I've gotten a doctorate, scored my ideal job, and found an amazing wife. It's literally never too late, y'all.

I never wanted to be a "in my day things were better" old lady... but I need to categorically state that technology actually WAS better. You are currently in the peak of designed obsolence, enshittification, personal intrusion and forced acceptance by lack of choice. Sure, the underlying tech...

In Paper Mario, Bowser claims that the Star Rod makes him invincible. However, in the first battle, it merely raises his Defense to a measly 1. If Mario is given just slightly better shoes, he can get through the protection. Bowser cannot handle taking over 10 damage, making the game crash.

I do not willingly use AI. I don't want to use AI. I don't ever want AI. I wont buy AI products. I will always take a job for a non AI project over an AI project no matter the financial reward. I want to do things, learn things, experience things and I want actual people to thrive.

i think microsoft and sony are both nearing the end of their video game making days. and thats ok. people in charge that have no passion for what they make for others shows and we take notice. there have been game makers before and there will be many many game makers long after they are gone.

This event is going to be fun if you like robots, computers, or learning about how to do research differently! Also, the event is the day before my birthday, so you should come and wish me a happy birthday because I'm a Leo. Also, if you can't come live, registrants get a recording!

Every single day Github gets quietly worse and when trying to explain this to non programmers I said it'd be like if a corporation acquired the earth's atmosphere and constantly fucked it up in new and irreversible ways due to greed and ignorance, but I guess that did actually also happen.

our indie game: - hand drawn by Celeste's pixel artist - music by Disasterpeace - made on our own game engine - a slow-burning horror RPG - meet (or date) 10+ charming characters - fast-paced combat - customize your playstyle with crafted items and combat abilities

Surely the solution here is just *don't use AI tools* for your writing and research and continue to do your writing and research in ALL the ways you were doing it before you started using AI instead of doing the work??

The people whose “allyship” has a carve-out for sports—because “fairness,” don’t’chaknow—are either misinformed people who haven’t seen the studies disproving that nonsense OR bigots too cowardly to just admit that they don’t think trans women are women. There’s no other option.

anyways trans women are women and should be able to participate in women's sports with no exceptions

The 11 hours it took for me to realize you can turn off Gemini in Google Docs were truly torturous because I keep browsers windows at half the width of my screen and every time I went back to work on this Very Important Document for someone's career, Gemini activated and tried to "help."

The politically biased CASS Review set out to 'prove' their pre-conceived position whereas this Dutch review discovered their position. This fundamental framing error by Hillary CASS has caused the quality of their arguments to be so very low.
